No.3 | Weekly Wardobe

This month Luxe97 have really been favouring creams, beiges and ivories. Maybe its the warm weather thawing our icy monochrome shell? Maybe its the prospect of graduating and entering the working world (beige to me is an adult colour ok - think Kimmy K).

This week's Weekly Wardrobe #Chloe'sCollection is super sophisticated. As I have started to think about workwear I've been explicitly drawn towards pencil skirts and heels. Now this certainly isn't an outfit I'd wear to the office however it is a day to day take on stylish office wear!

I am an absolute sucker for a trench coat but let be realistic, they're not really appropriate for the summer. River Island's 2018 Spring collection cleverly designed a trench inspired pencil skirt to wear all year round! The skirt is very flattering with a utility belt to accentuate your waist. The skirt is bold and unique despite the neutral tone, and is extremely versatile.

Mango have finally bought out their Autumn collection for the fore-coming season which I was extremely excited about. This adorable lace cami top in Ecru is a fantastic summer staple despite being a part of the Autumn collection. I find ribbed tops look great with lace and pencil skirts as they add some much needed texture to what otherwise may end up a slightly boring outfit choice!

I wear this outfit with heels to dress up, or with trainers to dress down. These gorgeous heels I am wearing in the photograph are from ZARA. I am obsessed with snake print and metallic colours - these heels combine both! I adore these heeled sandals giving the outfit a chic modern look. The metallic snake combo is classy yet slightly edgy and unusual.
